Q. Please introduce yourself!
Hello, my name is Chae-yeon Son and I work as an Operating Manager at Corca.

Q. Please tell us about what you do at Corca!
I work on the operations team, managing the company's assets and supplies, and applying for and managing government support projects that are right for us. I am also responsible for some management support tasks.
Q. What capabilities or mindset do you think you need to do a good job as Corca’s Operating Manager?
Since the Operating Manager is in charge of running the company, I think meticulousness is an essential competency. I think it is also important to be able to respond quickly to and reflect the needs of team members.
Thank you to the operations team for listening to the voices of our team members and responding quickly!
Q. When do you feel the fun and reward of work? Conversely, when is work difficult and difficult?
When I was in charge of a government-supported project as my first job after joining the company, the process was very different and the previous person in charge was on parental leave. It was daunting and difficult at first, but I figured it out based on the data I had previously organized and tackled it myself. I was proud when the final report was completed and I felt like I had grown a lot.
Have you encountered any difficulties while carrying out various government-supported projects?
Since I didn't have enough knowledge about development, there were a lot of development terms I didn't know while writing the business plan, but I learned them one by one by asking the developers each time!

Q. What was the area where you grew the most while working as an Operating Manager at Corca?
At my previous company, there was a lot of work to do according to the manual, so I was worried when I got a new job. At Corca, I feel like my problem-solving and situational skills have grown a lot as I have encountered new tasks.
Q. What topic does Corca’s operations team talk about most often these days?
Recently, Jiyoung (Operating Manager) returned from parental leave and the operations team became complete. We create the necessary regulations for the team and discuss a lot about how to resolve the inconveniences and difficulties of team members.
Q. What was the most impressive scene or episode while working at Corca?
I guess the recent Busan walk is what I remember the most. Before planning my work trip, I went on a field trip to Busan. I was worried because it was my first time traveling alone, but it was very rewarding because my team members were very satisfied with the workspace and accommodations we explored in advance. With over 30 people going, it was difficult to come to a consensus, but I think it was a precious memory for me and my team members, so it remains in my memory!
Because we prepared so well at that time, the team members were all happy and had a good time. thank you!

It's not work-related, but I've recently started working out and my goals are to lose weight and gain muscle!

When I first joined the company, the office was divided into the 8th and 10th floors, but now the entire 12th floor is occupied. I think in a year I will be using my own office instead of a shared office!
You did a lot of work when I moved to the 10th floor, but there will be even more work to do when I move to my own office!
The company has grown so much that I think I can have fun doing it!
