Hello, my name is Seonghoon Kim and I am working as an iOS Engineer. nice to meet you!
Q. Please tell us about what you do at Corca!
I am providing a schedule management app called Trace. Trace is a service that helps users manage their schedules more easily and quickly by utilizing LLM. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in schedule management! (I highly recommend it to Js!)
Are there any features you recommend in Trace?
Trace is an LLM-based communication service, so its biggest advantage is that you can quickly register schedules just by capturing them, for example, using the shortcut function using images. Recently, a voice recording function is also scheduled to be released soon, and I think you will be very satisfied if you try it yourself.

Q. What capabilities or mindset do you think is needed to do a good job as an iOS Engineer at Corca?
Of course, technical capabilities as an iOS engineer are basic,A look at services from a business perspectiveI think it's also important. And since this is not something you do alone, but a service created by a team, I think it is really important to be considerate of your colleagues in order for everyone to work towards the same goal.
Q. When do you feel the fun and reward of work? Conversely, when is work difficult and difficult?
While operating Service Trace, I feel the greatest reward when I receive positive feedback from users, such as “I’m using it well” and “The update was really good.” I feel very proud that the service I created is actually helping someone's life. On the other hand, I tend to get a bit stressed when a task I'm in charge of doesn't turn out as well as I expected or when I feel like there might be a disruption to my schedule. But every time that happens, my teammates say, “It’s okay, let’s do it together” and help me, which is a great help💪
Q. What was the area where you grew the most while working as an iOS Engineer at Corca?
The area that has grown the most isLooking at problems from a service and business perspective rather than a developer perspectiveIt is. In the past, I was stuck in the mindset of a developer, but after joining the Trace team, I began to think first of all, “How will this help users?” and I think I was able to naturally develop a business perspective by quickly discussing and reflecting with the team.
Q. What topic does Korca's Trace team talk about most often these days?
Recently, after achieving the MRR goal for the second quarter,Action plan to achieve 3rd quarter goalsWe talk a lot about this within the team. one of themOverseas expansionThere are active discussions about this, and the team is thinking together about what the needs of overseas users are and how to approach and promote it.
Which countries are you discussing entering into?
Currently, Trace's service is distributed worldwide, but there is a lot of talk about localizing it to be more language and culture-specific. So, recently, we have been discussing how to approach it in a way that can better penetrate users in specific countries such as Japan, China, and India.
Q. What was the most impressive scene or episode while working at Corca?
There are active users who use Trace with great affection. They often provide feedback and apply updates quickly, just like QA. He wanted widget-related features, and we distributed an update that reflected his feedback. When he responded, “I love the update, it’s awesome,” my team and I felt greatly rewarded. I can clearly feel that the change that started with a small piece of feedback helped actual users, and I think moments like that continue to motivate me.
User feedback and reactions are of great help to developers. It's really impressive that such direct user responses provide great motivation to the team!
Q. What do you think are the strengths of the current Corca team?
The biggest advantage of the Corca team iswelfare and peopleI think so. I am also satisfied with the environment where I can freely apply for and use any tools or services I need. Above all, not only team members but all members of the companyReally warm and caring people.So, I always feel grateful while working together.
I think it's a really good environment to be able to freely use the AI tools needed for work. In fact, in this work environment feedback, it was one of the benefits that members said they were highly satisfied with!
Q. What does Seonghoon imagine Corca will look like a year from now?
In the next year, not only Trace but also many new services will be released, so you can usePeople who naturally use Corca productsI hope we meet. And through those productsA team that positively influences peopleI hope it grows.
Q. How do you want to grow at Corca in the future, Seonghun?
As an iOS developerContinuing to develop technical capabilitiesAs well asUnderstanding of AI and LLMI want to expand together. Furthermore, rather than simply developingA person who can think and act from a business perspectiveMy goal is to grow.
Q. What kind of influence do you want to have at Corca in the future?
The influence I hope for is to become someone who can hear people say, “I definitely want to work with Seonghoon again.” It's small butA person who gives trust to colleagues and spreads positive energyI want to become this. If such a foundation is well established, I would like to create an even greater influence on top of it.
Q. Who do you expect to join the Corca Trace Team as a colleague?
By sharing even small technical stories and insights,Someone who can work happilyI hope so. I think that with someone like that, we can naturally lead to the growth of the entire team. And if you come as a developerAbility to view and think about problems from a business perspectiveIt would be great if you also have it.
I think the business perspective is a common direction that not only the Trace team but all of Corca consider important!
